The Relzurautt Armada is in search of florans that still adhere to tribal traditions. Florans who still practice the Hunt, embrace the ambush, and are not yet softened by "civilized" amenities. These florans will become the foundation of a unique fighting force within the Armada. Embracing their tribal culture and tradition, their history of superb hunting ability, these florans will be given the additional boon of modern combat training and enough discipline to bridge the gap between warrior and professional soldier. Thing about tribal Florans; they don't like to listen. Good luck training them, and then trying to command them. -Rational
Said florans will receive their training from another floran that has shown himself to be both a soldier, and a hunter.
Look to the "floran debate." Florans who stay loyal to their tribal tradition are faced with opposition from most "civilized" organizations in the frontier. They only ask that these florans renounce any aspect of their history, culture, and methods, in favor of their own. There is no compromise or acceptance. It is either change, or be ridiculed, and looked upon with open suspicion. Rather than take that route, we offer to respect those tribal florans traditions, and give them an opportunity to carry them on. They'll be able to function within our own society with minimal issues, while also earning a place of respect, and showing that their traditions and culture can find their own niche, when meshed with ours. Think hard on the most successful aspects of floran tactics. Hunting. Ambush fighting. Jungle combat. On a daily basis, residents of Antares complain about the lack of law. The ability of murderers and sanguine sociopaths to do as they please, where they please, when they please. They hide, they sneak, they run amok. A pack of experienced florans, trained in how to utilize modern technology, and how to combat it, are at the very core, ideal hunters. The tribal florans who accept this offer, learn new methods of hunting, and are given the chance, even encouraged, to hunt some of the Frontier's more dangerous prey, without fear of being turned upon by the larger organizations who will benefit from increased safety within their colonies. It is a deal of mutual benefit.
The RA are very adaptive with their moral outlook. Heck, they let their sworn enemies join them once it became convient. Where's the honor? - Marilyn
Morality is not in the question. Assuming the USAF members are the "Sworn enemies" in question, it's unknown to most that there is a history other than warfare between the Armada and the USAF. Though leadership often clashed, the members of either government had more of a friendly rivalry. On the note of the Florans, it is worth mentioning that I myself intend to create a more suitable area of living for the Florans, should they wish it. There are plans to zone off an area, and to let them grow their tree-homes and other structures as they see fit among themselves, much like Tallest Tree, for those who remember it. Intervention of the Florans' lifestyle would be minimal. -CWODON
