Quick OOC note regarding this. This is an event we've been wanting to run for a few days now. We'll be having a gathering at the bar in New Chicago this weekend, in hopes of having some fun RP in a cool environment and a place where everyone will know there's RP happening. (Even if literally no one showed up we'd still have 5-6 people there just from the group organizing this, so there's guaranteed RP.) Since some people have been saying there hasn't been much to do lately, and the owners of The Fall were wanting to get stuff going there, we figured this would be an awesome way to accomplish both. We're also happy to announce that, in order to make this extra-cool, we'll actually have real electronic music playing during the event through an online stream! Yeah, we'll have a legit DJ so you can listen to the IC music OOCly. I've wanted to do something like this on the server for ages, and we all agreed it'd be fun to try with this. I've already tested this idea over the past day or two to make sure it works — some of you got to listen in — and we've got a really good collection of music for it. (I'm big into EDM, out-of-character, so it's the good stuff. I swear.) We're hoping this will not only make it more immersive, but also more entertaining. If reception is good and people enjoy it, we might start doing this stuff more often! The event is currently scheduled for this Saturday, starting at 10:00 PM EST.
