It's not open world, it has the most random careers ever and there's only 8, there's no swimming pools, barely any furniture (EA is probably gonna make you buy all of this in expansions that are like £30 each), and the neighborhood sizes are generally too small.
There was a huge list of things missing that were included in previous games. It's not out for another 2 days here anyway. Thanks EA.
I've been playing it, and I actually like that it isn't open world. Open world made it too laggy without adding much, and the loading screens are very short and managable. It's got some neat additions (emotions make socializing a lot more entertaining, and the creator's better if you disregard the lack of create-a-style), but the game still feels the same, for the most part. The additions are kind of overshadowed by some of the shit that they've taken out.
Oh boy... Emotions... What fun... I'd rather just have a pool of emotionless toddlers if I have to chose between midgets and emotions. At least they still have those demon babies.
Mac is postponed for a few decades. Emotions are the only real redeeming factor I could find. I actually don't particularly hate not having an open world, because it didn't really add much to the sims 3 anyways. I am disappointed, though, that work is just rabbitholes still.
take the blue pill, and you stay in wonderland take the red pill, and you'll see how shit the rabbithole goes
