Dear friends, relatives, and colleagues of Black Wither-Rose, also known as Witherbane by most. The funeral for this fallen hero is scheduled for this Sunday 9;30 EST. All are welcome, but we ask that you register now, so we may make necessary preparations, ((just post on the thread below)). Note that the funeral is a time of mourning, and we ask that all disruptions be kept at a minimum, at best. The funeral will proceed as follows: 1. Pre-Funeral meal will be provided to guests, as we wait for everyone to arrive 2. Once all have arrive, guests will be seated to their designated spots 3. A brief moment of silence, as the crew of the Clear Skies sends off the dead with the firing of their rifles to the air 4. Wither’s song of choice from her last will and testament will be played (The Touch by Stan Bush) 5. Parting words will be spoken by members of the attending guests. Note that anyone may speak, as long as they remain respectful. 6. The casket will be lowered into the ground once all have spoken their words. 7. Guests will be escorted inside for a proper meal. 8. Wither’s items will be handed out, in accordance to her will and testament. 9. The funeral is disbanded, and guests may leave at their pleasure During the funeral, we ask that any enemies of the dead to remain civil at the funeral. You may stay, but we note now that any attempts to cause problems will be met with one warning. Any additional attempts will be met with force. (Please don’t be an asshole. TONE: DISTRAUGHT Saddest of days! I am doing much of the relaxing on my ship, believing that my day is most pleasant, until I came across this most horrid notification of sorts! Oh, how this beautiful world can be so cruel! Oh, how the kindest of females must meet the harshest of fates! Sunday. On this most solemn of days, I will be donning the priciest and darkest clothes that I have in my posession. The proverbial tears will flow. Proverbially. The cheerful bot you all once knew shall not attend; instead, this deep sense of loss that I shall feel with envelope me in emotions I have never felt before. I regret deeply that I cannot attend. But I send my deepest sympathies to Wither, and to those whose lives she touched. Even in the brief time I knew her, I knew that she was the kind of sincere, passionate, loving woman that is very rare in these dark times... and I mourn her death... But do not let her death cast you into a dark pit... she would never want that. Instead, live your lives in her memory. Be honorable and good, and seek to right the wrongs that led to her early demise... and, Wither? I will attend. If it weren't for Witherbane I wouldn't be where I am today. Paying my final respects is the least I can do for her. In the short time I knew her, she became a valuable friend, and it's painful to see her gone. -Connor Tavarin
I realize this may be a late post, and I have no relationship with the deceased in question, I would like to pay my respects. It seems she was respected among many, and all of the deceased should be respected. May she rest in peace. -Shogunu, posted in the New Chicago Bar on their phone.
