My friend has been talking to me about starbound, and he has recommended this server. So, I submitted an application and now here I am! Waiting to be accepted hopefully. I haven't RPed in a while, but I do remember it was fun. My past RPing was in minecraft, mc forums, and space station 13. Hopefully this will be one of the better experiences I have with roleplaying.
Definitely the best role playing experience for me out of all games like POTCO (rip), RS, etc. Welcome to the forums though, and hope you get accepted.

So, now that I have been accepted, how should I join? If I am understanding this, I am to send a distress signal upon arrival? Edit: Re-read newbie guide. So never mind. I do have a question about going to a colony, though. Should it be assumed that you plan to live at that colony? Do people live outside of colonies?
Some people live on their own homes on distant planets. Some live in their ships, but yeah, most live in Colonies or just drift from bar to bar. - Crowliss
