After some events, I stand here with the corpse of Molren Stoutheart, notorious slaver, and murderer. His life ended, his bounty is to be collected. However, I know that there are several who wish to have Stoutheart's cold, decrepit body.

Since he was wanted alive, I open the bidding at one voxel for his corpse.

So, the bastard got what for, huh?
I have no need for the body. I'm sure there are some people who do, though.

I am surprised nobody has tried to sell his mansion... Considering it's on a planet not under the rule of any faction, it's basically up for grabs...

It appears the planet was in fact claimed by the USCM.

Do you mean a mansion that was seized by USCM, and is now galactic property?

Please hurry, he's rotting in my ship's bathroom and making it smell more and more like a bar toilet.

"You know... in so many ways, this is no better than the crap the man did with his life. Why in the flying FUCK are you selling a damn corpse?! He was a piece of shit in life, sure, but my word! Have respect for the dead. And better yet, if the USCM were involved, why the hell did they not take the body as well? Fuck!"

The concept of "respect for the dead" is ever an interesting one. In the culture of my homeland, if a singular unit was destroyed beyond repair, we would generally attempt to salvage any working parts from the remains in order to benefit the people as a whole. Regardless of how dear the departed was, if he was entirely and completely gone, he obviously could no longer use the parts himself. Most would be honoured to have their remaining parts become one with the community as a whole again, and go towards the benefit of new and existing life. Assuming the unit is damaged beyond repair already, it is an honourable fate.

...That said, I don't believe organic parts work the same way in most cases. I've read that they tend to become useless rather quickly. However, as tasteless as selling the useless remains of the fallen is in his culture, I believe this one deserves as much respect as he deserved in life. That is to say: Absolutely none. Molren's life was spent taking and destroying those of others, and his permanent death is a service to people as a whole. He had no respect for others, regarded life with no sanctity, and had absolutely no honour. He contributed nothing, to anyone. Not only will the galaxy not miss him, but they will be glad to be without the misery he caused through his selfish and petty actions.

My gratitude to whomever slew him. If there is a "heaven", "paradise", or "great sky" beyond this life, then I am certain Molren Stoutheart will not be in it.

As terrible as it may be to say, I am glad for that.

I have taken the necessary measure to ensure that it is no longer rotting, and is instead being carefully preserved in a cryotank...

    I also cleaned the bathroom.
