Patience? Psh. What's that? What the hell is a patience? Has anyone seen one? Does it look like this? 45%. Such excite. I'm probably going to do a sorcerer build, as I find that I'm best with those.
Ahhhhhhhhh! The urge to play! Just one and a half months away! (he said trying to convince himself that the game was close at hand)
You can keep your magic, one month from now I will be working to dual wield ultra greatswords. What beats one greatsword? TWO greatswords.
I love the fact that rolling capabilities are less limited by equipment burden. It only really gets bad after 75% burden. You can also see your burden percentage out of 100. (Instead of the normal 32.3/66 type thing.)
I co-oped with someone doing this. Got invaded and he just kicked their ass in two swings. It was great.
I considered getting it for console, but then I was given a link and managed to preorder DaS2 for like 35 bucks. Now I play the waiting game. And Starbound....and Spoiler Monster Hunter
Hunting monsters. Aw yiss. My true dream in Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 is to beat people down with a shield on each hand.
Okay. I beat the final boss. Not spoiling anything. Sadly, it's not Nito with sunglasses riding on a flaming golden unicorn and pounding you with his mighty hammer of death, while the unicorn spits Gwyns all over the battlefield, while Solaire, Siegmeyer, Logan, Pryscilla and Oscar help you, and every attack you and your allies use sends out 10x Pursuers. 0/10, would not play again.
Nito was a wimp that I slapped silly-ish. You wanna talk difficult, let's talk phallanx without any pyromancies!
Another really OP technique I've seen was a presumably high-dex. build using a quick, low damage weapon to quickly inflict poison. Afterwards, he just dodged away until his opponent died.
Oh, I was just saying Nito because he's the coolest. He's easysauce. I could never beat Phallanx in Dark Souls, I always just ran past it because I didn't see any reason to deal with it. However, in Demon's Souls it's a legitimate boss, which is fairly easy, especially with Turpentine or Firebombs.
By the time I actually went there I had my +15 great demon machete and max Strength. Phallanx was easier.
I lucked out with O+S, I got a co-op partner with full Havel's and he just smashed one and let me kill the other one. Phallanx was good to farm souls from if you had pyromancies. Just toss a great fireball into the middle of the crowd and you kill half of them, then they scatter.
