Anonymous Running is an issue. Character matters, not just how well you can write a speech. I can write damn good speeches and do amazing presentations, but actually being able to perform well in a moderating role? I'm jack shit. Tacoburger knows that, others know that. However, if I ran anonymously, they wouldn't. Also, if I ran anonymously, people wouldn't know I was a furry, which can turn certain people off the concept of voting for me. (Even though all the previous Admins were furries.) While for others who are talking of running; John has depression, Mary Sue has no experience in moderating, etc. people will change their voting based on the character of the person running. Anonymous Elections are a recipe for disaster while the other two options are okay, in my opinion.
