Calling all individuals of a Medical Persuasion.

Greetings fellow Doctors, Physicians, Surgeons, Dentists, Psychiatrists and any others who practice medicine in their own way.

I'm Doctor Grammaticus, of Mud and it has occured to me that while there are more than a few of us out here in Council Space, more often than not we have very little contact between each other.

Organisation is important in our line of work I'm sure you'll agree, while many of us generalise, we can't specialise in everything at once and I'm sure we've run into a scenario we weren't sure exactly how to deal withat least once in our careers. Other times there have events which have resulted in mass casualties, leaving us with the difficult choice of who to attend to first, whose lives to prioritise over others. Perhaps our patients have needed specialist care or follow ups we were unable to provide. Perhaps at times the question of where to secure further supplies within our budget has come into question.

What I'm getting at is that there is no reason we have to work alone. I'm not proposing anything grand, just a sharing of contact details and perhaps a private starnet chatroom in which we can coordinate our efforts. Where we can vouch for and support each other or just communicate.
Knowing each other will allow us to refer our patients to specialists, co-ordinate efforts during events and share tips and methodology we might use.

I assume we are all here in these violent reaches of space for the same reason. To help. I think we can help more together.
