For too long have the outskirts of Council Space lived in the dark, afraid of shadows and what lurks within, struggling to power their machinery and lamps with expensive and hard to obtain electricity. Not anymore. The Monolith is a private initiative, which seeks to provide the sector, and mainly the outer rim, with cheap and accessible electrical power. To empower the industry, to empower the homes, to empower the people. Our first facility is already built in the Tartarus Rest system. The Coordinates are X73 Y148. Look for the first planet orbiting the star. We invite you to come see the facility by yourself, and have a beer at the bar we built especially for visitors. Now, we would like to make some rules clear, which must be read. In order to keep the safety of both the facility and the visitors, these are to be strictly followed: Prohibited the hold of weapons Spoiler: Rule #1 Once inside the facility, no weapons of any kind will be allowed. Upon entering, visitors will allow their weapons to be taken from them and stored at the Customs’ locker. Once leaving the facility, they will be given back. If preferred, one can leave their weaponry inside their ship. Visitors who disobey can and will be met with lethal force. Prohibited the use of drugs Spoiler: Rule #2 The use of anything that exercises a soothing or numbing effect or influence, especially narcotics. It is also prohibited to bring alcoholic beverages to the facility. Upon disobeying, the substance will be apprehended and the accused is subject to temporary exile. Prohibited the hold of chemicals and biological hazard Spoiler: Rule #3 To introduce a chemical or biological hazard item into the facility is to threaten the life and well-being of all inside. Therefore, it is terminally prohibited to fetch any of these, upon punishment of having them disintegrated and the accused temporarily exiled. Prohibited is theft, extortion and violence Spoiler: Rule #4 It is extremely discouraged that visitors attempt to harm or steal other once inside. If seen doing such, thieves will have all their possessions apprehended, and be exiled from the facility for an undetermined time. Rioters and ruffians consent to heavy injury when attempting to prejudice others, and will be exiled for an undetermined time. Prohibited the slavery of sentient species Spoiler: Rule #5 Slaves are not allowed inside, and will be encouraged to leave, upon being subject to harm and lethal force otherwise. Prohibited the entry of outlaws and bounty hunters Spoiler: Rule #6 Any sentient who has been recognized as an outlaw or bounty hunter won’t be allowed inside, and will be encouraged to leave. Having a stain in his or her name from crimes committed elsewhere will foreclose entry. All visitors must be properly identified upon entry Spoiler: Rule #7 Even though once inside visitors may hide their identity, when first visiting the facility they will need to identify themselves in the Customs, and create an ID within the local server. This ID will be linked to a card, which will be handed to the visitor and used whenever he opens any door or accesses the facility. All visitors must comply to local authorities Spoiler: Rule #8 Besides obeying all listed rules, visitors must respect and submit themselves to the guards and authorities of the facility. Failing to do so may result in various penalties, which will depend on the severity of the wrongdoing.
