Hello. I haven't played Starbound or this server in a year or so. I've redownloaded it, thought, due to recent interest. Feels good to be back.
Welcome back! I'm actually in a similar position, having "come back" about three weeks ago, but I've been job hunting for awhile now and had to address all that jazz. Hopefully I'll be able to get back into the swing of things real soon and we can both have some good ol' fashioned adventures. Maybe open up a meth lab or something.
Well to compensate for the server wipe, there is a lore that goes along with it. Tentacles similar to the ones of Earth took over the frontier and pushed everyone further in, into Council Space. The Council is made up of representatives for each race and is dealing with a lot of issues surrounding restoring peace, dealing with the tentacle threat, and so on. That's pretty much the gist of it.
I love wipes with a lore, I rememeber last time I was on here a colony excused rebuilding due to bugs (as in animal). Thanks for the info.
