You're tugging at my old heart here. Reminding me of the time when I was a young one building the Stinger model fighters for myself out of my first ship and pressurized metal. Hsssss hsssss hssss. Why need to build whole new ship, when you can just weld together a few salvaged but fully operational smaller ships and you can just find an engineer to connect them all up. Stab-Dancer.

Hope you've got a lot of pixels hidden away in a hole somewhere. It costs a small fortune to keep a ship like that running for a week. ((Though I like the design, excited to see how it comes out.. Building awesome ships is a fetish of mine.
Build as big a ship as you want. You got the resources, go ahead. But how in Ape's name are you plan on flying something that big? Alone? You're going to need a huge crew. Maintenance teams and nav teams and engine teams and diagnostic teams. You're basically making a big floating target for pirates and raiders in this sector too, so you're going to have to consider arms, munitions, the people to fire those guns and the people to secure the ship... No reason to have a personal dreadnaught. [email protected]

Antares is a frontier, a society on the edge of civilization. As a result, it won't have the highest end tech or the grandest of inventions. Be modest with your character's equipment. ((Just going to drop this here, an excerpt from the rules. OOC, you can build the ship as big as you want, but it will not be representative of what you have IC. In Character you should never have a capital ship as your personal shuttle, Antares is a frontier, that kind of thing just doesn't exist in the setting,))
