Hello, everyone. I was thinking about the TeamSpeak. It doesn't see much use, and it's just another monthly cost. Poll is above. Thanks, Kaz
Voted yes take down, but with replacement. i would love to use the teamspeak, nobody else goes on it often enough however. :/
Raidcall is a free alternative if I remember correctly. Edit: It also has these points you get for being online, so it makes you feel like you're getting achievement points and gives special warm fuzzies inside.
Only thing is, I'm forbidden to use anything but steam chat. It doesn't much matter to me what happens to it.
We have that, but the Cloud-based Skype commands make it very difficult to administrate, so I wouldn't recommend it as a wholesale replacement.
Also, only 3 or so people actively use the skype anyways. Doesn't seem like something that's gotten a lot of interest.
I only used TS for the first week or so that I joined. Nobody's around on it, so I don't see a point in it. :<
For anyone who even cares about the TS3, I have a server and I can dedicate a channel to Antares. Code: IP: 0x5bts3.zapto.org Pass: th0ushaltnotpass! Channel Pass: 0xAntares I am not arsed if it doesn't get used, as the server has multille purposes, but it's there if you want it. Only 32 slots for now until I can get an NPL license.
I don't want to use Skype. Like I said before, it has very little in the way of administrative control and can get out of hand quickly.
We now have an IRC again. I encourage you to register with Q. https://www.quakenet.org/help/q/how-to-register-an-account-with-q
I would go on if other people were on. Apparently lots of people think the same, so how is it not more populated? Maybe if there aren't too many people on we could stick around to see if anyone else shows up. The main problem, I think, is that people (myself included) just connect, see that nobody is on, then disconnect. Side note: I haven't really been on the server much lately as usual since it seems like a lot of people are waiting for 1.0 or whatever.
The Teamspeak is gone now; for a server-wide group chat, try the "IRC" Link at the top of the website where Teamspeak used to be.
