Question. If someone builds something on a planet and then jumps off the planet before it gets saved in a rest does the script detect the change and auto reset the planet to before the thingie was built?
No, because my understanding is planet changes are saved in memory as they occur, and then written to the hard drive in the event of an unload, shutdown, or crash. Additionally, the script is set only to detect and respond to planet corruptions.
Unfortunately there's no reliable method to determine when a planet is "bugged", so that still needs to be handled manually. I'm working on a script that will make manual rollbacks much easier for Moderators, though.
Version 2.1 of the Auto-Restoration script has been implemented and is currently in BETA. Changelog: Added timestamps to logs for ease of comprehension by Staff Added ability to handle multiple planet wipes, regardless of when they happen Minor performance tweaks
Here we see the rare and elusive 'Based Kazyyk'. Watch how this beautiful creature diligently builds its program, finding shiny techs to improve it little by little. With mating season just around the corner theres no doubt this display wont attract quite a few mods to it. -Some documentary douche.
You mean will. "No doubt this display won't attract quite a few mods to it" means "We're certain this display won't attract mods to it". In other news, I agree. This is amazing! Hip hip hurrah!
