No worries. Just dont overdo it with the knowledge. Afterall, nowadays is 400 years away in Starbound. Surely some of the data survived on the net, but if your character knows too much... Not so cool.
Meh really the subject of ideology, religion, and stuff is common knowledge if you look into it a little, but I'll try to hold it back. Edit: Plus we were also adding the subject of theory since a lot of it surrounded fictional subjects and theories.
Actually, since in this timeline, the earth was tentacled 7 years ago, and it still had archives, and I presume scientists on colony ships brought the info with them. We've had a faction that looked like 15th century german mercenaries. Just my two cents. I'm going back in the closet now.
