    Public Service Announcement

Attention citizens of the Antares region, it has come to our attention that there is much confusion over what the United Systems does, and how we operate. This announcement is here to clear up some of that confusion, and answer any questions the public may have. First, we would like to clarify that it is the United Systems Armed Forces, not United Systems Colonial Marines. The USCM is just the marine branch of our military forces, while the United Systems is our government system. We would also like to assure you that the safety of any and all civilians is our number one priority, and our soldiers are willing to give their lives to protect those civilians.

We would also like to remind the public that any penal colonies discovered are no longer associated with the United Systems, and we are willing to pay a finder's fee for anyone that discovers any of these colonies. Please contact a member of the United Systems Armed Forces for the reward.

As for how the United Systems operates, we are made up of three branches, the United Systems Colonial Marines, the United Systems Navy, and the United Systems Indigenous Forces. The USCM of this region is made up of a small group of operators, highly trained and skilled soldiers that lead the USIF, the main bulk of our ground forces. All races are accepted into the USIF if they pass basic training. Certain members of the USIF may be chosen to join the Colonial Marines, based on their combat and leadership skills. The USN works alongside the USCM and USIF, providing needed aerial assistance on missions.

We have several colonies in the Antares region, currently only one is accepting new citizens. This colony is Union, which is run by UPC. UPC is not associated with the USAF, and have the authority to apprehend any USAF members that break the law in Union. However, Hammer Point, the military base at the eastern part of Union, is run by the USAF, UPC has no authority there, and once past the gates, you must follow USAF regulations and laws.

This announcement will be monitored, and any questions will be answered, so please, do not be afraid to step forward with any questions, comments, or concerns.

Protects its citizens my ass. They're just as likely as to shoot or beat you as to "save" you.

Must be a dumb question, but where can one review the laws and regulations that take place in Union?

We assure you, our goal is to keep all citizens safe. If there have been any incidents involving a soldier of the USAF harming a civilian without good reason, please, let us know who all was involved and what happened, if we can ensure you are telling the truth, proper punishments will be administered.
