The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. The old, soviet one. Not really a movie, but series. Probably the best SH ever done so far.

Either Hill 60 or We Were Soldiers Once. Both great movies.

I always liked "Submarine." Dunno why, just sort of resonated with me I guess.

Memories of Matsuko. I can't find a good copy of it anymore.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

    The books were better though.

  10. The books are almost always better, except for the Hunger Games, and that's because they did almost everything exactly like the book.

I didn't bother finishing The Hunger Games' first book. IMO it was incredibly lame compared to other reads like Eragon and its continuations.

Emphasis on IMO. That's just me.

Speaking of books with TERRIBLE movies...

So. Mine? Probably... Hard to say. *Headscratch* I don't watch a lot of movies these days, but the Harry Potters are pretty good, and I do love me some extended cut Lord of the Rings.

Eragon's film adaptation was horrible. It didn't do justice to the book.

Apparently the Harry potter series of book was exponentially better then the movie and the detail in the movies were pretty bad. Something about they didn't line up with the books to well.

The movies are almost never stick too much to the book. There's a lot of things they usually miss.

I'd say the best word to describe that movie would be "WAT"
