A Helpful Alignment Guide

    Hey there, folks.

    So, with all that I see on the server, I notice that a commonly used thing is the system of alignments right out of Dungeons & Dragons. However, I also notice that not everyone might fully know what each type of alignment would represent at times. Many times that I see players mention their character being certain alignments and they are actually not that alignment at all. To help folks a bit with this, I'm posting direct quotes from the wikipedia entry regarding the alignments. Keep in mind that it is rather basic for the most part. But hopefully it can help folks a bit to perhaps figure out their character's true alignment or similar.

    I hope this helps. Also, as I said, it's not the most complete. I've seen far more detailed guides in the past on forums for Neverwinter Nights. But it's a good place to start from.

    LAWFUL GOOD
    NEUTRAL GOOD
    CHAOTIC GOOD

    LAWFUL NEUTRAL
    TRUE NEUTRAL
    CHAOTIC NEUTRAL

    LAWFUL EVIL
    NEUTRAL EVIL
    CHAOTIC EVIL

    Good guide, yum. Checking all my characters now to make sure I didn't derp on alignments.
    EDIT: I did. Some alignments need changes.

    This is a bit late, but thank you for this. I forgot about this guide and it's still the best one I know. I have noticed some characters' alignments not really matching their actions, and I'm guessing it's just an oversight when it happens, so good on you for throwing this up here.

    In case that wasn't a joke, that is the farthest thing from LG that you can get, really. LOL. Whatever people do, don't follow that portion please. Lawful Good doesn't function that way in the slightest. Those actions are actually more akin to Neutral/Chaotic Evil by D&D standards.
