We're in an interesting experimental stage with events. With more and more innovative methods of emoting and representing certain things, we're presented with more opportunities for larger scale events. With larger scale events, comes a need for actors. Unfortunately, the ugly truth is that outsourcing actors can be dicey. Tryouts would take too long and feel ridiculous, and scripts break the whole meaning.

This thread will be a place to discuss various methods of supplying various groups with Events, as well as new ideas anyone may have for representing certain things. For example, we recently made a tank out of weapon parts.

Please keep in mind that the poll is NOT the end all be all, it will simply factor into how we will go about running events.

    1. Inhouse Actors: We enforce a strict "Play your main, play an enemy in shifts" rule on event participation. It would limit our capacity for numbers, but would be the most reliable method. Requires testing.
    2. Outsource Actors: As we did with the sign-up, we invite the community to participate in the event via throwaway actors destined to get maimed/killed in some ugly manner. This has proven unreliable, but may just need refining.
    3. Auditions/Tryouts, Trusted Outsourcing: We do mockups to test RP style and emoting to see if certain individuals mesh well, and incorporate them into events. Could work, but may suffer from the same issues as plain Outsourcing.
    4. NPCs: Why.
