In The Memory of the Expanded Universe being Canon.

    So, if no one heard, much of the Star Wars Expanded Universe is no longer considered canon to leave creative freedom for the people working on the 7th, 8th and 9th movies.

    I've personally only played a few Expanded Universe games, and learned a bit about the events within the comics and books from the Star Wars wiki. I'm sure there are people on the server who are much more experienced with the Expanded Universe than I am.
    So, thoughts? Favorite Expanded Universe pieces?

    Given that I'm an avid fan of Star Wars EU, this actually pisses me off beyond belief. I'll admit I expected it, but yeah. Everything that was put out as canon EU content, approved by George Lucas, suddenly being invalidated is so fucking stupid. Fuck Disney.

    Eh, if the new movies don't live up to expectations, or pale in comparison to the glory of all the EU, i say we do what we do best as fans and decide to ignore the new movies and cling to our nostalgia.

    Having played games like outcast and academy, as well as browsing hours on wookiepedia to learn stories, i have to sat I am also silently pissed.
