    I'll be keeping ads on too. Don't have the financial stability to donate just yet, but if all goes according to plan I will be donating sometime this summer. You do great work for this community. I've had a lot of fun RPing here and want to give back as soon as I am able.

    I agree with this decision. I'll be keeping my ads on, but for new people walking into the site, I think the best first impression is one in which ads are off. We can always teach people how to turn them on afterwards -- perhaps with application acceptance. ("Additionally, if you'd like to help out with site finances...")

    It can take up to an hour to take effect. It's not instantaneous.
