((tiger)) or any kind of light armor really.... :~( size would be XS, or XXS.. preferably one that hasn't been used before... I mean, one that hasn't been shot at.. like a brand new one... and maybe some pauldrons... actually, anything ranging from hockey protections to a kevlar would suffice :~S you can find me in tetanus fields!! my crate is the one in the back of the eastern slums, it has two doors and a sleeping bag on top of it. it's between Lydia's and 674's... ask around, they're more known than i am...if I'm not here, you'll find me in the shipyard. please.
The usual kevlar vest can be around 40 pounds. But yes, you can get used to them after lugging it around with another few pounds of combat gear.
Are we comparing the weight of a kevlar vest to a plate carrier? I had to lug around a plate carrier for a whole tour!
My ballistic vest is around 50 pounds including the plates. Helmet is 3.6 pounds. Imagine that with 8 pound rifles, your ridiculously over sized backpack with tons of gear in it, your belt with sidearms, and a bunch of other things like your padded pants. Makes running and climbing a tad bit more difficult I'll say. But none the less, after training, all soldiers can easily run a few miles with the gear on.
