    "Such as a baby bird and its siblings" - that is providing examples. The definition is "one with which a nest is shared". If you think about how avians couples share beds and wouldn't sleep with their own children because of squick factor then the word usage is still accurate. In real life it is used to refer to the hatchlings because naturally they are all in the same nest upon hatching until they are ready to fly.

    So, nah.
