    Ladies and gentlemen. Behold, the ancient historical artifact that I found in my screenshots folder.

    THE LOST CHAPTERS OF OF PALOS: THE LONE SHADOW AVIAN.

    After this touching moment, Cole brings the injured Palos to a nearby planet to execute him. By injured, I mean that he had a bullet in his brain, and buckshot riddling his body. Luckily, he's a shadow avian; the only thing that can truly destroy him is light.

    Palos, being a shadow avian, cannot survive in these harsh conditions; unless he is returned to the shadows, he will surely die. And so, he begs.

    Failing to convince me to metagame, he instead waits for the night. After all, the darkness of the night would surely allow him to recover from his wounds-- that is, if the darkness is strong enough. AND THUS, A CRUEL TWIST OF FATE HITS PALOS
