A wipe would suck, sure, but some of the fun is rebuilding things BETTER than you made them originally. Simply Building on the same premise with a fresh mind can be a wondrous thing as far as creativity is concerned, you get to make little tweaks to your original plans
My settlement just got wiped so that rules out the possibility of it being related to lots of people, as I'm the only person here building this and I've had a maximum of three people here at any one time. Only things I had here were a few basic props, a sandstone and a wood building and a big, empty ship made of pressurised steel.
Could you put the saves back on, in the meantime, kaz, or is it hopeless? (As in, a single restarts destroys all your work)
Fuck it, I'm all for a wipe now my building is gone. Whatever fixes this so it doesn't happen again, I don't care. For now, I'm done.
If we are intending to test wipe to see about having a control set of data for the situation. I'd like to ask that it be kept out of public hands. What I mean is that it be open to the staff, and trusted members of the community. I say this because if we want a control group, a real one, we need it done without mods. If people really are interested on seeing if the magic wipe will fix anything, we can at least make sure we test on the cleanest slate possible.
as I said, my place got wiped less than an hour ago. I went to another planet to check on something else I built, came back, got disconnected without an error screen, loaded it up again, came back and the planet was clean.
Yeah. This seems like the best time to just lay back and accept that a wipe is inevitable. Honeydew Prior, with the election of its new mayor, is going to be completely rebuilt once these issues are fleshed out.

I stopped actually playing Starbound itself since before furious koala. I just went onto the server and did things. But this is just tiring me out. I'm gonna leave for a while, maybe come back once this crap is cleared up, maybe not until the next beta stage, IDK. Until then, I'll be beating up Lilligant on AVP. Wheee!

Then you'd have the discrepancies between the private test and the regular wiped galaxy to look at if anything weird starts happening again.
Our facility hasn't been messed with whatsoever, it hasn't crashed nor been reset once, so for all of you people saying the community wants a wipe? Speak for yourself, I put alot of effort into that place.
