I've only tried pixel art a few times before, and it was small scale (When I was like 14 my guy-friend and I decided to start a sprite comic on some website) such as making a hat or changing the clothes of a character
But I'm gonna try and see if I can make some for Starbound :3

There's a bit of an error with the sprites in that you left some slighty visible remainders of the body that was there to help with positioning. Fixed them for you:

I love the mod, but let's temporary disable it to see if that's really whats causing it, if it is then we'd have to find a method to enforce people to downloading it but yes, this mod is worth it.

 

It can still live, it'll just take a little nap is all. I'd like for everyone to get rid of the mod and see if that helps out at all.

Testing to see if it is causing problems might be a good idea.

 

How about try walking around without any of the items equipped/in your inventory.

If that improves crashes, we're getting somewhere. Unfortunately, the dark truth is the server is going to be riddled with lag and crashes for a very long time. The best we can do is bear with it and hope the devs come up with some optimization.

Or, we all donate like crazy to fund a custom launcher.

 

Check out the suggestion thread guys, it might very well reduce our lag issue, by alot.

Also, if a server-wide mandatory download becomes available, couldn't some of these items just be made into hairstyles to be used upon character creation? That would allow much more freedom I think. (suggested by sloth, im just posting for him cause hes lazy)
