I like the roleplaying and all, but so far with the server instability I uninstalled Starbound to make room for other things. I'm really just looking a friendly community I can post on and meet new people, as real life is becoming a bit cyclical. So, anyone up for just a bit of a chat?
I would imagine its due to a number of things. People having school/work, timezones, playing on the server, doing something else, etc. Generally business picks up in the evening EST.
y'all seem like the bunch of losers i'd like to affiliate myself with also its mostly bc of school and work. the server really picks up traction over spring, summer, winter breaks.
Theres the seal of approve-all, and then the seal of approve-some. Also, sup man. Lotsa friendly peoples here. And yeah, summer is a HUGE time for the server. Last summer it had a minimum of, I think, 12 people on at all times. Cus ya know Summer.
This almost gave me a stroke and epilepsy. Also, yeah a lot of stuff going on right now. Me, for example. I can't play games for over an hour (or at all, sometimes) due to the fact that I'm loaded with homework, projects and personal problems right now. But y'know, maybe you can hook up with other members of the community and play other games while Chucklefuck fixes the server stability issues! At least, that's what I try to do. Have fun d00d! Antares is mostly a good place to find funny and friendly people to socialize with.
Ah yes summer, when I played Starbound obsessively and neglected my girlfriend. Good times. Literally just Starbound, LoL, and tennis. During the school year, I got 3 AP classes and varsity positions in sports. Plus I'm equally as obsessive about tennis as I am about the vidya gaems. High school hi-jinks, social life, and other games as well. Ye there are a lot of hot guys in this community. 10/10 would game. But yup this community is awesome and is actually one of the few communities to make me open up beside Reddit. Plenty of weird ass folk to socialmalize with.
Most people are willing to play other games. It's a starbound roleplay at the moment, but Antares' community has several unspoken groups of people who just like to play games together or chat <3
