Greetings citizens of the Antares Frontier. This reporter wishes he could say good day, but unfortunately the Voice's heart is simply not in it today, for This Reporter comes bearing bleak tidings for the sector. On this day, a devoted Flightless has given unto herself, and joined her god in the Avian Aether. This brave Avians name you may ask? Well, it is with a heavy heart that This Reporter is obliged to inform the friends and family of one Alirei Aklam of her passing.


-A soul lost, but not forgotten-

Due to nothing more than a chance encounter, and perhaps a dollop of good luck on This Reporters end. The Voice was lucky enough to bump into this dutiful young Avian as she was heading out on her journey home, and to her death. For you see, there is happiness to be found in the story of Alieri's passing, as well as great bravey. In what small conversation we had, this remarkable young woman confided in me that she been inspired by one she held dear. She wished me to pass on a message to Aegis, 'Her Crow,' that his selflessness and overall strength of character had inspired her to head to the Avian homeworld and Ascend. For those not informed in the in and outs of Flightless culture, when an Avian Ascends they give of themselves unto Kluex, and in an effort to reunite with their God in the Aether they hurl themselves from the tops of great spires and towers. This is the fate that Alirei chose for herself, a brave girl driven into action by 'Her Crow.' May she rest peacefully beside her god forever more.
