Server Instability

    Hello, folks.

    Server's been unstable as all get out ever since Upbeat Giraffe released. I encourage you to reach out to Chucklefish and encourage them to prioritize multiplayer stability over adding new content. There's not much we can do on our end to stabilize the server.

    Is there a server administrator panel from which you could force a restart? Server providers usually offer some tools like that, though I have no idea about Starbound services.

    We don't use a slot-based server provider. Antares is installed on a dedicated machine I manage personally, and ye, I've coded in a restart button but it still requires someone be available to press it. Anyway, constant restarts is just as bad as constant hangups.

    If someone could link the forum post or wherever we should voice our multiplayer concerns that would be great. The Chucklefish forums are rather tedious to navigate and are entirely foreign to me.

    I can hardly even play this game till these issues are addressed by Chucklefish. Half the colonies lag me into nothingness.

    If its actual lag with the performance being smooth. Then t'is stability, else it's an performance issue.
