I think it's something which should be ignored, honestly. It's not too important how Florans mate, and it shouldn't matter either way. If you want to emulate hot Floran sex in private chats and such, go ahead on your own terms. But I don't see this as a problem whatsoever. Chucklefish can do what they want with their game and if that's their honest opinion (it's likely a sarcastic response) then I support it.

Okay, I'll bite, and be serious for a second.

Was it probably a joke? Yes. Will I probably reference it whenever yet another Floran sex thread comes up just to kill it while it's young? Yes.

Does it matter? No.

If you want to utilize some kind of "canon", then sure, use this. It's better than so-hot-can't-handle-it-plant-sex or something. But honestly the odds of this coming up in any context outside of ERP is very, very, very low. And I think everyone's in consensus when we say we're not into public ERP here, so, therefore, the odds of this coming up at all on this server, are very very very low.

On the extremely off chance this comes up in an innocent context, hey, feel free to consider it reference material. But I don't think it actually makes a bit of difference. It's like trying to decide this sort of canon for Avians or Hylotl.

And before we make this one of those threads: No.

So Lrsch and I concocted this bit that tjey were little indiginous fungal people hidden away from orher species in their subterranean realm, and began to worship Muck as a god and practiced shroomling sacrifice, or just clogged the filters and pipes in the sewer... <_< hence the occasio al issue of bloody water in the faucets
